The award recognizes lomarlabs’ novel approach to advancing maritime decarbonization and operational innovation through structured collaboration, real-world deployment, and commercially grounded pilot programs.
The CFI.co Judging Panel highlighted lomarlabs’ “disciplined, problem-led innovation” and its ability to convert “maritime uncertainty into a managed portfolio of executable options, rather than a single technology bet.” The judges also noted the strength of lomarlabs’ operational model, which leverages the platform and expertise of Lomar Shipping to support the testing and deployment of emerging technologies under real commercial conditions.
