Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure Completes Sale of Two Community Solar Projects in Illinois
GSI completed the sale of two community solar projects in Illinois totaling 13.9 MW.
[September 17, 2025] —Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure (GSI), one of Libra Group’s renewable energy subsidiaries based in North America, completed the sale of two community solar projects in Illinois, totaling 13.9 MW, to one of its trusted partners, Aspen Power. The projects, located in the towns of Grafton and Rochester, will generate enough clean, affordable energy to power the equivalent of 2,770 homes.
This transaction represents a strategic advancement within GSI’s broader portfolio strategy. As Illinois advances its commitment to the community solar sector, GSI remains actively engaged in identifying and developing impactful clean energy projects in the renewables market. With over 580 MW developed across 82 projects and a robust 2.4 GW pipeline, GSI continues to drive the clean energy transition throughout North America.
