Emily Teitelbaum

Chief Communications Officer

Emily Teitelbaum is the Chief Communications Officer of the Libra Group. Prior to joining Libra, Emily was Vice President of Public Affairs Communication at Wells Fargo where she led proactive storytelling, developed thought leadership across the enterprise, and served on the company’s Media Center of Excellence. She was also detailed to lead media and external positioning for equity and macro strategists in Wells Fargo Securities’ Corporate Investment Banking division. Before that, Emily was a Vice President of Public Affairs at Edelman Public Relations where she led Fortune 50 accounts, including global financial clients, philanthropies, and trade associations, and also developed and launched the company’s Washington D.C. “Influencer Engagement” thought leadership offering. Prior to joining Edelman, Emily was a Legislative Aide in the Office of U.S. Senator Jim Webb, supporting his work as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Subcommittee on East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Before pursuing graduate studies, Emily led marketing initiatives for a global law firm.

Emily has a master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Hollins University. She also completed graduate coursework from National Defense University in Strategic Thought, and has been a guest speaker on public relations at George Washington University.

In her role, Emily oversees all public relations, branding, and marketing of the Libra Group out of Washington, D.C..
