[September 3, 2026] — The Duchess, a property in Thirassia operated by our Greek-born hospitality subsidiary, Aria Hotels, officially opened this summer.
The Duchess was initially announced in 2024 and has undergone extensive upgrades and renovations to prepare for its opening as a high-end, adults-only boutique hotel.
Following its opening, The Duchess was featured in a Condé Nast Traveller review authored by Heidi Fuller-Love, who describes the hidden gem property as “11 cave-style suites with graceful domed roofs and arched interiors…modelled on the island’s traditional yposkafo cave houses. Clinging by their toes to the edge of a cliff in capital Manolas, they gaze out over the taverna-lined turquoise horseshoe curve of Korfos Bay to Santorini opposite.”
