The new restaurant thoughtfully combines Greek culinary heritage and contemporary French technique, guided by fresh, local ingredients. Set in an elegant and intimate space, it offers a sophisticated atmosphere for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The culinary direction is led by Executive Chef Chris Sidiropoulos, whose international experience and strong classical foundation shape the restaurant’s philosophy. With professional experience in Greece and the United Kingdom, including in Michelin-starred kitchens in London and Cambridge, he brings discipline, creativity, and deep respect for seasonality and local produce to every menu.
Athens 1890 Hotel & Spa is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century mansion located in the vibrant heart of Athens, just behind Ermou Street and steps away from the Acropolis, offering a refined and tranquil escape surrounded by the city’s rich history and culture.
