Kipi Suites is the latest in Aria Hotels’ collection of traditional Greek hideaways

Aria Hotels has announced the addition of Kipi Suites to its collection of exclusive Greek hotels and holiday villas. The property is in Kipi, part of a unique cluster of ancient villages in the heart of Zagori in North West Greece – an area famed for its landscape of mountains, valleys and rivers linked by winding roads and traditional arched stone bridges. The hotel is situated just half an hour away from the historic lakeside city of Ioannina.

Kipi Suites comprises eight luxurious suites, each offering panoramic views of the village and its surroundings. All suites feature open fireplaces and most include a Jacuzzi and terrace. The hotel features an informal restaurant serving light dishes throughout the day including a signature breakfast with many locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant terrace offers stunning views of the mountains, village and river below while the Kipi Lounge Bar with its comfortable armchairs is perfect for relaxing.

The hotel has been developed from two houses dating from 1850 with a further three modern buildings that blend perfectly with the original property. The traditional exterior facades have been carefully preserved while the interiors add a contemporary air. All materials used for the construction, renovation and maintenance of the Kipi Suites are environmentally friendly and special care is taken to conserve energy and water throughout the hotel.

Zagori is an ideal location for lovers of nature and outdoor living. It offers numerous activities such as hiking, rafting, horse riding and paragliding. It is also a culinary paradise with truffle hunting, autumn mushrooms, blackberries and Tsipouro, a Greek apple brandy. The area is easily accessible with excellent transport infrastructure – the hotel is 30 minutes by road from both Egnatia Odos and Ioannina International Airport.
