Loren Coleman

Director of Marketing Communications

Loren Coleman brings extensive experience in integrated communications, brand building, social impact marketing and nonprofit management to her role as director of marketing communications with Libra Philanthropies. Through her cross-sector work in health, health tech and consumer packaged goods, she has also worked across a range of social issues, including women’s health, education and health equity, and food access.

Previously, Loren served as head of marketing and communications for the nonprofit organization Action for Healthy Kids, which works with school systems in the US to advance whole child health. As a senior executive at leading global public relations firms, independent consultant, and nonprofit executive, Loren has led strategic planning, product launches, media strategy, thought leadership, public awareness campaigns, content marketing, and partnerships and has worked with dozens of brands, from established Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups. Loren holds a Master of Science from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science & Policy, where she concentrated in the Agriculture, Food and Environment program, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston University.
