At Libra, we seek to turn family values into guiding business principles. One core value is a strong sense of respect and trust in the individual.
Another is a sense of community – recognising that together we can be more. While a business is a community it must also acknowledge its responsibilities to the wider world: the global community.
As we interact with the global community we encounter numerous people or groups who need a helping hand – from victims of natural disasters to those trapped in poverty to those enduring life-changing or terminal illnesses.
Accordingly, we provide for the discretionary support of charities, events and initiatives that fall outside the scope of our principal social responsibility programmes. Capitalism with a social conscience means being constantly attentive – prepared to offer help where it is needed and provide opportunity where it is lacking.
