Promoting Public-Private Partnerships
The Libra Group is the founding sponsor of Concordia, a non-profit organization seeking to promote public and private sector cooperation and build public-private partnerships around pressing global issues. Each year, Concordia hosts a forum of current and former world leaders, top officials from global corporations, and prominent non-governmental organizations to provide an intimate and thought-provoking conversation around the important elements of building effective public-private partnerships.

The first Concordia Summit in 2011 focused on strengthening the relationship between the public and private sectors to more effectively combat global extremism. Key participants included former U.S. President George W. Bush, former Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski.
The second Summit in 2012 included a presentation by Senator John McCain who drew on his significant experience to offer thoughts on the nature of partnership and its strategic value in the modern world. The 2013 Summit focused on 'investing in youth' and discussed how public-private partnerships could play a role in empowering the next generation of global citizens, while the 2014 Summit focused on 'scaling proven solutions through collaboration'.
The 5th anniversary summit in 2015 convened almost 1,000 participants, including 10 heads of state and government, 106 C-Level executives and 122 members of the media. The keynote address was given by US Vice President Joe Biden, watch the video here.
