In Europe, our subsidiary, EuroEnergy, has built a network of grid-connected solar energy generating parks and has begun investing in wind farms. Additionally, the company has recently opened the first of a series of biogas production facilities in Latvia.
Meanwhile in the USA Greenwood Energy is involved in both the waste-to-energy and the clean power generation sectors. Greenwood's fuels division takes a wide variety of industrial waste to repurpose into burn-ready fuel pellets with lower emissions yet the same properties as coal. The company's power division has installed clean power generation technologies such as fuel cell plants in hotels, university campuses and other public buildings in the USA.
